ASHFORD UNITED - CLUB STATEMENT

Ashford United – Club Statement

It’s with heavy hearts that we bring the sad news and mourn the passing of Ian Drage.

Ian had been involved with us since from the Town days, spanning over 40 years.

His hard work as our esteemed head gateman and dedicated volunteer, was rewarded in 2018, when Ian was awarded by Ashford’s town mayor, for his hard-work .

Ian’s absence leaves a profound void within our club, and his unwavering loyalty will be sorely missed.

Our deepest condolences extend to his beloved wife Elaine, who stood by his side and nursed Ian throughout his illness.

Rest in peace, Ian. Your memory will forever remain a beacon of decency and loyalty within our club community. Forever United.
