THE BBC AT THE GREEN BOX

Ashford United were delighted to welcome the BBC to The Green Box Stadium and to feature in their new feature called ‘Behind the Teams’, where they explore the incredible world of non-league football.

The feature aired on February 12^th and showcased the invaluable work done by volunteers for the Nuts & Bolts.

Featuring our very own Ernie Warren and Terry Moore, the BBC spent time at the club, learning about its history and the passion and commitment of fans and volunteers alike.

Lloyd Hume commented “The volunteers were part of the reason that I fell in love with the whole place.”

With long-term plans for investment and promotion up the football pyramid, the feature is a great showcase of the people and ambitions behind the club.
