CHANGES TO ASHFORD UNITED LADIES FIRST TEAM

CLUB STATEMENT

Ashford United can confirm that the difficult decision has been made to part ways with our Women’s First Team Manager, Steve Howard, as the club looks to move in a new direction.

We would like to place on record our sincere thanks to Steve and his staff for their hard work, commitment, and the progress made during his time at the club. We wish him all the very best for the future and hope to continue to see him around the club.

As part of this transition, we’re delighted to announce the appointment of Mark Mason as Women’s Chairman. Mark will play a key role in shaping the structure and long-term development of girls’ and women’s football at Ashford United.

Our vision is to build a women’s team at every age group, creating a clear and sustainable pathway through to our Ladies First Team, supported by a strong development squad.

As the club begins the process of recruiting a new management team to take the Ladies forward, we can confirm that Head of Football Development Barry Fuller will step in on an interim basis until further notice.
