Ashford United U15’s Div 1, took on 3rd place Park Farm at Homelands.

Ashford knew they had to have top team play from the off to hold a confident Park Farm at Bay.

Max Cherry Druggan (CB) had a great game, preventing there over 6ft striker from scoring.

Owen Smith’s pace on the right wing was causing the visitors trouble, but they had the physicality and took the lead 23 mins in.

Ashford with Ewan Monkley (MF) and Jake Redmond (LB) delivering some great possession, saw Ashford equalise 7 mins later, Gift Okolie from a corner.

In the 2nd half, Ashford dominated with Man Of The Match, Carter Scopes leading the way in vision, with great link up play with Joe Ward and Scopes was rewarded with a peach of a pass for Okolie to score his 2nd.

Ashford had a few chances to go further ahead, but Park Farms defence was solid.

Uniteds team play was immense with Keeper Harry Ruan making crucial saves to see off the visitors and give Ashford United a well deserved TEAM win.

A fantastic game from start to finish.
