Shaun Holland has today announced his coaching staff for his Under 23s squad for next season.

Kevin Brown joins as his assistant manager, along with ex Ashford Town Reserves coach, Martin Telford, who joins Shaun as the Under 23s coach.

Brown (44), has had a long playing career in non-league football, playing for the likes of Sittingbourne, Tonbridge Angels, Herne Bay, Greenwich Borough, Sheppey United, Tunbridge Wells and Worthing.

Telford (58), spent three years at Homelands in the early 2000s as coach of the reserve team and also head of youth development. His playing career ended early at the age of 26 due to injury, but included a spell playing under Sir Alex Ferguson at Aberdeen. He has had coaching spells at West Ham & Leyton Orient academies.

Trials for the Under 23s take place on Tuesday 7th May 2019 at Homelands Stadium, but will now take place for two hours, rather than the originally arranged one hour.

Trialists are expected to arrive at around 7pm, for a 7.30pm start. Players will need to bring their own kits and moulded boots.

Any new players wishing to register interest for the trials, please contact U23s manager Shaun Holland on 07738 017462.
