Two new signings and a familiar face joins the coaching team…

NEWS, NEWS, NEWS……

We bring you some breaking news on signings, injuries and a new coaching appointment…..

Lyzee and his management team have been busy this past few days, and have replaced Boothy with the vastly experienced Adrian stone, signed up experienced Goalkeeper Nic Taylor, and added our very own Mickey Phillips to the coaching team.
The former ashford town player (Stone) manages to score goals at any club he plays for so we have replaced Boothy with another proven goal scorer.
Nic Taylor kept a clean sheet for us at Hollands & Blair this season and brings a lot of experience to the squad. Nic has played at international level in World Cup qualifiers for Montserrat.

Danny Lye said..

“I have played with stoney at 4 different clubs through my playing days so I know what he brings to the team.
He is another big striker which complements our other Pacey forwards.
We only have welfs as a big target man and I felt it was important to have cover in every position with all the cup comps now kicking off.
Also committing to the team for the rest of the season is goal keeper nic Taylor.
He now gives us 3 very good keepers in the squad. With Owen still learning his trade at this level I thought we needed another keeper to push george for the no 1 spot.
We have a very strong squad now which means players need to perform week after week to keep there places.”

Lyzee continued to tell us about Mickey..

“Mickey Philips has joined the coaching team.
He will work along side Shaun Holland and the rest of the management team.”

“Micky gives us lots of experience and a very honest opinion when needed.
He will keep the players on their toes.”

On the injury front we still have
Charlie dickens -broken wrist
Tommy fagg-broken wrist
Micky Philips-knee
George -suspended
Welford-suspended
