Match Preview: Thamesmead Town

We welcome The Mead to Homelands!

This weekend, Saturday 2nd December 2017, we welcome ex Nuts & Bolts defender Tommy Warrilow back to Homelands as manager of visiting opposition Thamesmead Town FC.

This will be our first competitive match in 14 days since our 3-0 away defeat against high flying Corinthian-Casuals on 18th November.

Our visitors haven’t been shy in front of goal in recent weeks, as they’ve scored 15 goals in their last 5 games, though have also conceded 12 in that time, resulting in 2 wins, 2 draws and a loss.

Thamesmead currently sit in 12th position with 29 points and a goal difference of +6, whilst United remain in 23rd position on 9 points, 7 points above last placed Shoreham, but also 7 points behind Molesey & East Grinstead town who take up 21st and 22nd places respectively.

Finally, we also welcome back Richard Avery and Ellis Green, two ex United players from the last couple of seasons who could both feature for Tommy Warrilow’s side on Saturday.

Kick off is at 3pm, we look forward to a great game in a mild December afternoon!
