We welcome South Park to Homelands.

This Tuesday (3rd October 2017) evening we welcome South Park FC to Homelands for a Bostik League South Division fixture 7.45pm kick off.

South Park will be the first team we’ve played our second league fixture with this season after we faced them in August this season.

That result didn’t particularly go how we would’ve wanted, when we returned home from a 5-0 thrashing after leaving the pitch with just 9 men.

In front of a crowd of 115, with Jason Goodchild and Michael Phillips both seeing red in the second half. Our starting XI that evening was: Kamurasi, Kirby, Williams, Goodchild, Avery, Kingwell, Richardson-Brown, Davisson, Welford, Stone, Hill (Subs: Woodcock, Difford, Lye, Sharp, M.Phillips)

A lot has changed since that evening in Reigate, and Jason Whitmore will be looking for a much improved performance from that night which was only our second league match of this campaign.

In terms of recent form, both teams have scored 3 goals in their last 3 games, with the visitors conceding 5 more goals in that period.

South Park currently sit in 7th position, just outside the playoffs on 17 points, with a goal difference of +6. Ashford are in 21st position on 7 points and -10 goal difference, and have played 1 game less.

Realistically United can leap up to 16th place with a win, whilst South Park could go up to 5th.
