Fixtures released for SCEFL 2016/2017 season

The fixtures for the 2016/2017 Southern East Counties Football League were released last night at 7.30pm at

All fixtures are now on the Ashford United website so get your diaries out for some key games!

The league season starts away at Beckenham Town on Saturday 13th August with the first home game being played three days later against tenants Canterbury City on Tuesday 16th August.

We host Kent Senior Trophy winners Sheppey United at Homelands on 29th August Bank Holiday Monday, the following Saturday (3rd September) we then play newly relegated Whitstable Town at home. Newly promoted Bearsted visit Homelands on Tuesday 13th September.

It’ll be an exciting festive period for us as we travel to Tunbridge Wells on Saturday 17th December, and then we play away to Sheppey United on Boxing Day!

Our first game of 2017 is at home to Corinthian on 7th January. We host Tunbridge Wells on Saturday 18th February which is always an exciting fixture.

Two away games in March as we travel to Bearsted on 11th March, and then to Sevenoaks Town 2 weeks later on the 25th of the month.

Finally, April is a busy month as we play 6 games, starting with Crowborough Athletic at home on the Saturday 1st. We travel to Whitstable Town on 8th April, whilst we play Fisher at home on the 15th, and then the tenants Canterbury City for the ‘away’ fixture on Easter Monday.

Our final away game is to Croydon FC on 22nd April, with our last game of the season at home to Rochester United on 29th April.

A reminder as well that our season starts on 6th August 2016 as we host fellow SCEFL member Corinthian FC at Homelands in the FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round.
