Who gets your vote?
It’s now time to vote for your Ashford United player of the month for August 2018. With 5 games played, including 3 wins out of 3 in the league sitting top of the league, this could be a tough vote!
A new format for POTM voting this season. Previously fans would choose from a choice of 4 players as chosen by the club, but this season fans will now be able to choose from anyone who made a single appearance in that given month to make it more of a fair vote.
Gary Alexander’s side kicked off their season with a 3-1 home win over local rivals Hythe Town, before coming back from 3-1 down to draw 3-3 with Thamesmead Town in the cup.

We’ve had 9 different goalscorers in August, with Sam Corne and Ambrose Gnahore scoring 2 each. Both Aaron Lee-Wharton and Sam Mott have kept a clean sheet each, and we’ve seen some fantastic performances from the likes of Tom Carlse, Sam Corne, Ambrose Gnahore, Antonio Simeone, and… well the rest of the squad!
