There’s been a few changes to the squad since last week so read below to make sure you’re up to date!

Very late before our match before Greenwich Borough last Saturday, we brought in experienced goalkeeper Lee Hook. Lee left Dover Athletic back in October 2018 after a 9 year spell with the East Kent side, and joins us as player/coach. Last week Tommy Warrilow said:

“Lee joined us in training on Thursday and it’s great to have him as part of the team. Terry [Sedge] will be away until the beginning of March so we needed someone to come in to assist with the coaching, but as well as that to have his experience is great and he will be a very good back up to Mott.

Charlie Wealands has been very professional and I would never have been scared to use him if we needed to, but I feel it’s unfair to have a 16 year old on the bench just sitting there not playing football. He is very impressive in training every week so I would rather he is out getting game time on a Saturday.”

Follow this, Charlie Wealands joined SCEFL Division 1 side Lydd Town FC on a dual registration and we expect him to be involved in their match day squad when they travel away to Erith & Belvedere FC at the weekend. Under 18s defender and team mate Sonny Wirt joins him there as well. Good luck to both!

Forward Theo Fairweather-Johnson is likely to remain out of the match day squad against Three Bridges as he is still struggling with his injury that he picked up against Whitstable Town a fortnight ago.

Winger Stefan Cox is likely to return against Three Bridges after his 7 game suspension finally comes to an end.

Midfielder Lea Dawson will be serving the last game of his 3 match suspension this weekend so won’t be available.

Finally, experienced striker Jay May joined us this week as he leaves Conference South side Dulwich Hamlet. Jay is recovering from a hamstring injury and is unlikely to feature against Three Bridges FC this weekend but the gaffer told us he trained last night at Homelands, and was involved in running & sprinting sessions with physio Ben Coles, and hopefully should be involved when we host Sevenoaks Town at Homelands next weekend.
