Keep up to date with comings and goings for the new season!
We’ve caught up with the gaffer about how the squad is looking for the new 2019/2020 campaign…
Recently, our top goalscorers from last season in Sam Corne and Danny Parish both announced their departure from Homelands, with it looking likely they will be finding clubs at least two divisions higher up the pyramid.
As well as this, we can confirm both Toby Ajala and Afolabi Coker will be leaving, also to progress up the leagues.
Good luck to all of them and it’s a credit to us as a club that we can provide a platform for players to move up the leagues.
This morning we are pleased to announce that defender Jerald Aboagye has agreed to commit for the coming season. Jerald made 30 appearances last season, scoring once – against Hastings United on Easter Monday.
Also committing are midfielder Zak Henry, and forward Brandon McCarthy.
Zak joins having played at Grays Athletic last season, and was previously at Cray Wanderers where he made 67 appearances. Brandon joins having played at Egham Town, after coming through the Sutton United youth system.
Finally, ex Nuts & Bolts fans favourite Dan Stubbs has been training with Shaun Holland’s Under 23s Development side, and Tommy Warrilow has given Stubbsy the chance to report in for pre-season training with the first team.
More news to come soon. Come on you Nuts and Bolts!
