Keep up to date with all goings-on here at Homelands Park.
We welcome the Leafe for Tommy Warrilow’s first home match in charge.
This Saturday 8th December 2018 we welcome Whyteleafe FC to Homelands Stadium in The Bostik League South East Division, 3pm kick off.
It’s Tommy Warrilow’s first home match in charge and we’re expecting the United support to really get behind Tommy, assistant Alex O’Brien and coach Terry Sedge in their Homelands debut in the home dug out.
Having won 4 games on the bounce we sit in 7th place but only 2 points behind our opponents Whyteleafe who sit in 4th, which means a win on Saturday will see us move up at least one place.
Whyteleafe have won their last 2 games, scoring 8 goals and conceding none in that time, but hadn’t won in 3 prior to those matches, which included loses against Haywards Heath and Sevenoaks.
This year Ashford United are proud to be supporting Ex Mayor of Ashford, Winston Michael and his quest to ease the suffering of Ashford rough sleepers through the Ashford Winter Night Shelter scheme.
May we ask everyone to donate whatever they can to support this needy collection to ease the stress on Ashford’s homeless rough sleepers.
We shall be collecting at the game this weekend and at the club anytime from 9am till 10pm up until Christmas Day.
Not sure what to donate? Anything from the following list would much appreciated and will make a fantastic difference to Ashford’s rough sleepers:
Toiletries, underwear, pillows, duvets, rucksacks, jogging bottoms, jumpers, coats, hats, gloves, socks, scarves, boots, tea, coffee, sugar, hot chocolate, Rice/pasta/noodles/couscous, tinned foods, cereals, or just any non-perishable food.
Thanks to the amazing volunteers at the Ashford Winter Night Shelter for making a difference to many lives in our town.
This is set to be an exciting match, we look forward to everyone’s support.
