This Saturday 12th January 2019 we welcome Scott Porter and his Whitstable Town FC side to Homelands in The Bostik League South East Division, 3pm kick off.

With Whyteleafe and Horsham (3rd & 4th placed sides) playing each other this weekend a win for Tommy Warrilow and his team will see us move up the table with at least one of the two sides above us dropping points.

Last time we faced Whitstable in the reverse fixture back in September, Porter and his team finished with all 3 points with a late winner for the home side in a 1-0 win. Whitstable currently sit in 13th place with 23 points after 19 games. Their away form includes 3 wins in 10 away matches, losing 6 of those so far this season. They have scored 17 goals and conceded 30 giving them a goal difference of -13, compared to United – we currently sit on +16 goal difference. A win for the visitors could see them potentially climb up to 9th in the table. Whitstable have won just 1 of their last 7 matches, and last time out they drew 1-1 at home to East Grinstead Town.

We should see lots of old faces tomorrow, as their squad includes lots of ex Nuts & Bolts faces such as Dan Eason, Chris Elliott, Stuart West, Chris Saunders and Jordan Wright.

Please take care whilst travelling, as you might wish to leave a little more time for your journey. The M20 is closed both ways between Junctions 9-11 from 22:00hrs Friday 11th January to 06:00hrs Monday 14th January, this means those fans (especially from Whitstable) travelling will need to know the M2 will very likely be much busier than usual.

Enjoy the game, come on you Nuts and Bolts!
