Keep up to date with all goings-on here at Homelands Park.
We travel to Woodstock Park this Tuesday evening.
This Tuesday 5th February 2019 we travel away to Sittingbourne FC in The Bostik League South East Division, 7.45pm kick off.
Another win for United on Saturday which now puts us in 2nd place in the table, just above Hastings United on goal difference, who dropped points at home to Guernsey on the same day that we beat Sevenoaks Town 2-1.
We faced Sittingbourne at home back in September and could only manage a 1-1 draw, so will be certainly looking to make up for those dropped points earlier in the season.
Tuesday’s hosts currently sit 16th in the table following their great 4-3 win away to Phoenix Sports at the weekend, which saw them leapfrog Herne Bay & Faversham Town from 18th place. They have 20 points from 22 games, compared to Ashford who have 45 points from 23 matches.
Sittingbourne’s home record in the league this season consists of 3 wins, 1 draw and 7 losses, whilst AUFC’s away record in the league is 8 wins, 1 draw and 2 losses.
United have won 11 of our last 13 games, drawing 1 and losing 1. Sittingbourne in contrast have won only 2 of their last 15 games in all competitions, losing 13.
Safe journey to all of our travelling supporters.
