This Saturday 1st December 2018 we travel away to take on Phoenix Sports FC in The Bostik League South East Division, 3pm kick off.

The main talking point about this match will be that it’s the return of ex Ashford Town defender Tommy Warrilow as he takes charge of his first match as Ashford United boss.

This weekend’s hosts are only 3 points ahead of ourselves having played a game more, they sit in 4th place on 23 points whilst we’re in 9th, though a win for the Nuts & Bolts on Saturday will see us leapfrog Phoenix in the table as our goal difference is +7 with theirs being +5.

United’s away form this season has seen us win 3, draw 1 and lost 2, Phoenix’s home form has been not quite as good as their away, having seen only 2 wins, and 3 draws from 6 home matches in the league so far this season.

Phoenix have drawn 4 of their last 6 league games, though are undefeated in that run as they beat Sevenoaks 2-1 and Herne Bay 4-2 both away from home. Last time out they draw 2-2 with Haywards Heath in Sussex. Their last home match in the league was 3-3 draw with Hythe Town, with the visitor’s trailing 3-0, Hythe managed a great comeback and equalised in the last minute.
