Keep up to date with all goings-on here at Homelands Park.
We travel down to the coast this weekend!
This Saturday 6th April 2019, our first team travel down the road to take on local rivals Hythe Town FC in The Bostik League South East Division, 3pm kick off.
With just 5 games remaining of the regular season, we currently sit in 4th place, 14 points above of opposition this weekend, who occupy 7th place.
Our goal difference is 28 better than theirs, with ours being a positive 35.
We last faced Hythe on the first game of the season when we won 3-1 at Homelands Stadium in front of 429, which included a goal from Sam Corne.
We currently sit top of the form guide with 13 points from our last 6 games and a goal difference of +7 from those matches. Hythe are 11th with their recent performances with 8 points from their last 6 and neither a positive or negative goal difference.
United currently are unbeaten in 5 having won 4 and drawn 1 of those, whilst Hythe have only won 2 of their last 7, last time out they lost 5-2 away to East Grinstead Town.
The Cannons’ squad this weekend may have a few familiar faces, with their last starting XI including ex Nuts & Bolts players such as Sid Sollis, Ryan Palmer and Ollie Rowe. Local Ashford lad Charlie Webster may be included in Hythe’s squad, whilst United legend George Kamurasi is likely to still be out injured for them.
With lots of United fans due to make the short trip to Reachfields, we hope you all have an enjoyable afternoon! Address to attend the match is below:
