We’re back to competitive action this Saturday!
This Saturday 16th February 2019 we return to competitive football after our 10 day break as we travel away to Herne Bay FC in The Bostik League South East Division, 3pm kick off.
Last time out we had a good result coming away from Sittingbourne with a 2-0 victory which put us back on top of the form table with a 100% record from our last 6 points and a goal difference of +17. Herne Bay are currently 14th in that table with 6 points from matches and a goal difference of -4.
Our opponents this weekend actually sit 18th in the league table with 20 points from 24 games and a goal difference of -24, compared to ourselves who sit in second, 48 points from the same number of games and a goal difference of +29.
The Bay have lost their last 3 matches in a row, a 6-0 defeat away to Cray Wanderers, 5-1 at home to Ramsgate, and more recently a 2-1 defeat away to Haywards Heath Town, before that though they beat Hastings United who at the time sat second in the table.
Earlier this season we hosted Herne Bay at Homelands and it finished 4-1 to the Nuts & Bolts thanks to a Sam Corne brace, whilst Harry Ottaway and Danny Parish also got on the team sheet.
Safe journey to all of our travelling fans as per usual, travel details below taken off of Herne Bay’s website!
