This weekend, we take on Guernsey FC away at Footes Lane, Guernsey on Saturday 18th August, please take note that kick off is at 2pm.

Last season, this was without a doubt the best away fixture for us having taken a huge number of supporters to the island.

This season, unfortunately the fixture list has been very unkind to us and it seems this match has come way too soon for most fans to be able to travel back as most fans who went last year have been unable to commit. However, there are still a number of fans going who are also staying for at least one night in St Peter Port.

For those who did not attend last season, but are thinking of going next week, we highly recommend it if possible as the people on the island are a fantastic bunch, the supporters of Guernsey are very friendly and overall the club are extremely welcoming.

For those debating making the journey, there is still time to get online and book a last minute flight for a day trip, or even a late hotel booking for the weekend. It’s always worth a ‘Google’ as you never know you might find some last minute deals!

There is a great pub not far from Guernsey’s ground, The Doghouse, which was very welcoming last season and it’s just a short walk away from Footes Lane.

Important info:

Entry is £10 for a seated ticket, £6 for a ground standing ticket or £1 for U16s. For more
information please visit www.guernseyfc.com.

For those of you flying to the island, photo ID is required, anything from a passport, drivers license (provisional is ok), or even citizens ID are all acceptable. For more info please check with your airline.

There are no charges for mobile data
roaming whilst on The Channel Islands, and WiFi should be available in your hotel and most bars.

The road name for Guernsey FC: Footes Lane.

The road name for The Doghouse Sports Bar: The Rohais.

Guernsey postcodes don’t seem to work very well on Google Maps so we don’t recommend using any postcodes that you find online.

Finally, the match will be streamed at Homelands via a live link which will be provided by Guernsey FC. The bar will be open upstairs on match day from midday for fans to come and watch, kick off is at 2pm.

For you travelling supporters, we hope you have a wonderful trip and let’s go for a great 3 points!
