This Saturday 13th April 2019 we travel to Bromley to take on table toppers Cray Wanderers FC in the Bostik League South East Division, 3pm kick off.

A lot is riding on this fixture as the hosts will be promoted as league champions with a victory in front of their home crowd, whilst us ourselves will be looking for a win to move up the table as we aim to grab home advantage in the playoffs.

So in our last 6 games, we sit second in the form table with 4 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss, whilst our opponents surprisingly sit in 10th in the recent form guide, with 2 wins, 2 draws and 2 defeats in that same period.

12 points separate the two sides, though Wanderers only have a +6 better goal difference.

Their ranks include defender Tom Carlse, who of course joined from United earlier this season, and assistant manager/player Joey Vines, who also featured as a Nuts & Bolts player, just two seasons ago.

In regards to the playoffs, the permutations for our own campaign is as follows:

We will secure our place in the playoffs this weekend, if:

  • Ashford United beat Cray Wanderers, and VCD Athletic drop points versus East Grinstead at home.

If we draw versus Cray Wanderers, and VCD Athetic lose this weekend, then we will be 9 points ahead with 3 games to go, with around a +30 better goal difference.

Safe journey to our loyal supporters this weekend! Cray still groundshare at Bromley FC. Address below:
