Match Preview: Bromley FC

Posted in First Team on 6th July 2018 (2 weeks ago)

Remember it’s 11am kick off!

This weekend Saturday 7th July 2018 it’s the first of our pre-season warm up matches as we welcome National League side and fellow Kentish club Bromley FC to Homelands, 11am kick off.

Of course England take on Sweden in a World Cup quarter final clash at 3pm hence why the fixture has been brought forward, to help all fans home and away get to where they want to be to view that game.

Back to Homelands and we’re excited to witness our new squad together in action as Gary Alexander has brought in as many as seven new signings so far this Summer.

As far as injuries go, we’re led to believe that only striker Matt Day will miss out, though Anotinio Simeone, Will Thomas and Jordan Johnson-Palmer will all be absent tomorrow due to prior commitments.

We spoke with the gaffer earlier, and he made sure fans new that the first two or three games in pre-season were all about getting the players back to fitness, and tomorrow we will also see a number of trialists who will be looking to impress our management staff.

Remember those wanting to watch England can stay at Homelands as we will be opening the bar and also serving hot food!
