Keep up to date with all goings-on here at Homelands Park.
We welcome Hooky who left Dover in October.
We’re delighted to announce the signing of goalkeeper Lee Hook as player/coach.
Hooky, who spent 9 years at Dover Athletic, left Crabble Lane in October, joins up with Tommy Warrilow at Homelands as coach Terry Sedge is away for 5 weeks.
Lee will be on the bench for today’s game versus Greenwich Borough.
Tommy Warrilow spoke to us this morning:
“Lee joined us in training on Thursday and it’s great to have him as part of the team. Terry [Sedge] will be away until the beginning of March so we needed someone to come in to assist with the coaching, but as well as that to have his experience is great and he will be a very good back up to Mott.
Charlie Wealands has been very professional and I would never have been scared to use him if we needed to, but I feel it’s unfair to have a 16 year old on the bench just sitting there not playing football. He is very impressive in training every week so I would rather he is out getting game time on a Saturday.”
