Keep up to date with all goings-on here at Homelands Park.
Welcome to our two new signings!
We can confirm the signings of Luis Morrison & Ambrose Gnahore to Ashford United ready for the start of the 2018/2019 season.
Morrison, who has been on trial at Homelands since the start of pre-season, put pen to paper last night after impressing the gaffer, having played for him previously at Greenwich Borough.
Gnahore also signs in time and may feature in our opening fixture when we take on Hythe Town at Homelands this Saturday (11th August). The ex Chelsea winger is 22 years old and has recently played at Farnborough and Kingstonian.
We spoke with Gary Alexander about the new signings:
“Luis Morrison is a player who I’ve worked with in the past and I know exactly what he offers. He’s a great lad and a good footballer, hopefully he can bring his qualities to us and help us improve as a club. Ambrose is a real pacey winger who I’ve had my eye on for the last couple of years. He’s been training at clubs much higher up the ladder with a great pedigree. Again, hopefully he can help us get to where we want to be and climb that ladder himself. I’m sure both of these players will prove to be a big part of Ashford United this season. Welcome Luis & Ambrose!”
Luis, Ambrose, and our other new signings will be in action this Saturday, 3pm kick off at Homelands versus Hythe Town. Come on you Nuts & Bolts!
