Keep up to date with all goings-on here at Homelands Park.
Harry Ottaway is a green as Joshua Oyinsan parts with the club.
Some deadline day activity here at Homelands as Gary Alexander prepares the last tweaks to his squad for the 2018/2019 season.
We are really pleased to welcome striker Harry Ottaway to Ashford United. The former Dulwich Hamlet, Enfield Town & Corinthian-Casuals man joins and will be available to play versus Hythe Town on Saturday.
The visitors will probably not be pleased to see our new signing, as Ottaway scored an injury time equaliser again Hythe Town on the final game of the season, to stop The Cannons from clinching the last play-off spot in the league, and instead sent Corinthian-Casuals to the playoffs instead!
The gaffer tells us today:
“I’m delighted to have secured the signature of Harry Ottaway! It’s been a long time coming, and many coffees over the last few years but I’m really pleased to finally have him on board. He’s a player that I am certain will show his worth with his work ethic, quality of play and his fair share of goals. Welcome, Harry!”
On the flip side, today we say goodbye to Joshua Oyinsan, who in his short time at the club scored 5 goals in 7 games towards the end of last season. Best of luck to Joshua in the future, unfortunately the club want to go in a different direction so have decided to part ways.
