Fans can now vote for their Ashford United FC player of the month for February 2018.
Just 4 games were played in February, with just the one win coming in that time, though some individual performances have led four players to be up for contention for our player of last month.
Dean Grant played his first full month at Ashford after joining half way through January, and he got off the mark scoring a consolation goal in our away defeat to Thamesmead. Though overall last month he impressed Nuts and Bolts fans.
Jahmal Howlett-Mundle is another player up for vote. He made his debut last month when we hosted Corinthian-Casuals and his defensive performances certainly deserved praise.
George Kamurasi made some crucial saves last month. We may have lost 3 of our 4 games but he certainly kept the score line down on many occasions.
Pat Kingwell, Mr Reliable, is our final player in contention of winning our February 2018 player of the month. Whilst partnering Howlett-Mundle at the back, we’ve seen a great improvement in the team’s defence and Pat has been a key part of that since he has been back in the side following his spell out injured.
