Parish is a Nut and Bolt!
We are delighted to welcome a new signing to Ashford United, in the form of Danny Parish!
Danny joins us at Homelands having recently been leading the line at Thamesmead Town before their sad demise.
The 20 year old striker was a pro at Brentford, before joining Concord Rangers and then eventually The Mead last season, where he scored an impressive 21 goals in 23 appearances.
Gary Alexander spoke with us about this great signing!
“I’m so pleased to get this one over the line. We are very lucky to be able to pick Danny up after the unfortunate circumstances at Thamesmead Town, it’s very sad that any club should have to go through what they are. Danny is a young and hungry striker who has ambitions to play at a higher level and I’d love to give him the platform to go on and reach the levels that he wants to push himself to, and he now has the opportunity to do that here in an Ashford shirt.”
We have also had the chance to speak with Danny earlier today:
“I’m really excited to sign for Ashford. I am hoping to score as many goals as I can and fire us up the table! I am also looking forward to playing in front of you brilliant fans!”
Welcome to United, Danny!
