Match Preview: Whyteleafe

We welcome the Leafe to Homelands!

This Saturday 28th October 2017 we welcome Whyteleafe FC to Homelands in the Bostik League South Division, 3pm kick off.

This weekend’s visitors form doesn’t seem to have much consistency coming into this match.

Though Whyteleafe sit in 6th, their recent results would suggest otherwise, having won 2, drawn 3 and lost 3 in their last 8 games, with their last match a 1-1 draw at home to Greenwich Borough last weekend.

They are undefeated at home in the league so their away form is where they’ve been dropping points, having only won 1 of their 7 Bostik South Divison games on the road this season, drawing 4 and losing 2. The Leafe also have the 5th best goal difference in the division, scoring 27 and conceding 14.

Whyteleafe lost their manager Leigh Dynan earlier this week, when he left to take charge of Kingstonian in the Bostik League Premier Division, and took their assistant manager with him.

Matt Day was in form for our under 23s on Wednesday evening scoring 2 goals to beat Whyteleafe under 21s in the development league so could play a part on Saturday.

Come on Ashford!
