This weekend, Saturday 28th April 2018, we welcome Walton Casuals FC to Homelands Stadium, 3pm kick off.
It’s been a turbulent season for us Nuts & Bolts, but we’ve achieved what we set out to do by surviving to play in the Bostik League South Division again for next season.
We’re currently 4th from bottom, and a win on Saturday will take us over the 40 point mark, but Walton Casuals will be going into the match knowing only a win will do for them to make the playoffs. Elsewhere, 5th and 6th placed sides Hythe Town and Corinthian-Casuals will take each other on at Reachfields.
We’re in great form going into this game, having won 3 of our last 5, including our last 2 games on the bounce. Walton’s form has arguably not been that great of late, having only won 2 of their last 5, two of those have been lost also.
Walton have scored 8 goals in their last 5 games, and conceded 5 in that time. In that same period, United have scored 11 and conceded 7.
Saturday will be busy after the match, as we are holding a presentation in the Lancaster bar upstairs, to say thank you to the fans and staff for this season, and to welcome Gary Alexander as manager for next. So please, if you are able to, come into the bar after the match has finished.
Following that, in the evening, downstairs in the function suite, we welcome LP as he performs the launch of his new album from 7.30pm, all entry is £3 and the bar will be open!
We look forward to seeing all supporters this weekend.
Come on you greens!
Congratulations to Barry Fuller's side!
A trip away to newly promoted side Haywards Heath this Saturday.
A second win in a week for the Ashford United 3rds
The young Nuts & Bolts fight back twice from behind to win the match versus Raynes Park Vale Under 18s.
