After a not so great start in the league, our team are looking to get their first point in the Bostik South after sitting second to bottom after 3 games.
Monday 28th August, 3pm kick off!
Some first team faces will return as we take on The Brickies on August bank holiday Monday.
Sittingbourne have had a much better start to their season, winning 2 and drawing 1.
They started with an away victory beating Chipstead 2-1, followed by a home win beating Herne Bay in front of a crowd of 222. This weekend they managed a 2-2 draw with Lewes, and now sit in 4th place.
Safe journey to all of our travelling support, please see travel directions below, taken from http://www.sittingbournefc.co.uk/contact/directions-to-the-woodstock
Sittingbourne FC Woodstock Park Broadoak Road Sittingbourne Kent
Woodstock Park is part of The Kent Science Park complex so you can follow sign posts to the Science Park (But do not go into the science park!)
Car – Set your SatNav to ME9 8AG
From the M2 exit at Junction 5 or the M20 at junction 7 take the A249 towards Sheerness. If you have taken the A249 from the M20 go straight across the roundabout after approximately 3 miles. Leave A249 at the A 2 turn off (this is the first junction after the M2). Go up the raised section to the Key Street roundabout, take A2 to Sittingbourne. After about a mile turn right at Adeleide Drive (just past Wicks). Go to end of road and turn left (into Borden Lane) and then immediate right (into Homewood Drive). At end of road turn right into Ufton Lane. At end of road turn right into Park Road (Becomes Gore Court Road). At mini roundabout go straight on into Woodstock Road, Woodstock Road becomes Ruins Barn Road. When houses disappear after, approximately half a mile, turn left (signposted Kent Science Park) into Broadoak Road. Go downhill pass the Research Centre on right (SAT NAV WILL TRY TO TAKE YOU INTO SCIENCE PARK). Carry on uphill for another 50 yards, turn left into the car park of Woodstock Park. SOME SAT NAVS WILL TRY TO TAKE YOU VIA NARROW COUNTRY ROADS. I WOULD ADVISE YOU TO FOLLOW THESE DIRECTIONS.
Public Transport Train The nearest station is Sittingbourne which is approximately two miles away. Sittingbourne is served by South Eastern direct from Victoria and St Pancras ( High Speed one line). There are taxis at the station The fare is approximately £7:00 each way.
