Keep up to date with all goings-on here at Homelands Park.
This Saturday 23rd September 2017, we welcome Guernsey to Homelands (and the mainland!) for a 1pm (ONE O’CLOCK) kick off.
The earlier than usual kickoff is to help accommodate the travelling team, staff and fans with flight and travelling times.
Stats wise, both sides will be looking to improve on recent form, as United sit in 21st position, with the visitors in 23rd, one above the relegation zone.
Whilst United have scored 5 less league goals this season, The Green Lions have conceded 5 more than the weekend’s hosts.
Guernsey started their league season perfectly with a 4-2 win at home to East Grinstead Town, but have since lost every game since. They didn’t enter the Emirates FA Cup this season, nor do they take part in the Velocity Sports Trophy or a local cup competition, therefore they’ve played 8 league games so far, we’ve played 7.
With both sides desperate for 3 points, it will certainly be a game to get behind the team from the terraces!
A reminder to fans, we play Guernsey away on 27th January 2018. Many fans have already booked flights and accommodations, but prices are slowly rising as we approach the fixture date. So it is recommended to book sooner rather than later to avoid higher costs.
