Match Preview: Faversham Town

Join us this Easter Monday for this local derby community day!

This Monday, 2nd April 2018 Easter Monday we host local rivals Faversham Town at Homelands Stadium 3pm kick off.

It’s our community day and our volunteers have done brilliantly promoting it over the last few weeks, with 1,500 tickets going out around to local primary schools in the Ashford area.

Local Ashford based band, tHE rASH, who wrote and published the official Ashford United walk-out song, ‘If Ashford were United’, will be performing the song live as the teams walk out onto the pitch!

There will be a rodeo bull and bouncy castle in operation before and after the game, with the gates opening at 1.30pm.

We last faced Faversham on New Years day when we travelled away and came back home with a point after a 1-1 draw.

Whilst our game versus Molesey this weekend was postponed, Faversham hosted Carshalton Athletic and lost 2-1.

Faversham sit 19th in the table with a goal difference of -12.

We’re looking forward to a great afternoon of football and entertainment.

Come on Ashford!
