Lloyd’s playing career started in 2003 when he was playing for Brentford against West Bromwich Albion.A year later he suffered an injury that finished his first class career as a striker and he moved in to non league circles and has played for clubs including Scarborough,Chelmsfood,Cambridge City,Maidstone,Margate Whitstable Town and Hythe town, then Chatham, but returned to Hythe in a coaching capacity in the summer of 2012. He has signed for Ashford as a player/coach and will also assist Paul Chambers giving his invaluable experience in the clubs quest of promotion from the SCEFL. The club warmly welcome Lloyd and he will be active alongside of Chambo as they put together their strongest possible team in this seasons quest for success.
