Chambers on Lordswood

Pre Match Comments From Chambo

The latest news from the club is revealed today in a call to the Ashford United manager Paul Chambers. “The Lordswood game is coming just a few days after the very hard encounter that we had at Croydon” he said. “We have injuries to both Joe Fisher and Ratty (James Everitt), Joe still has a dead leg that is taking longer than usual to recover, I took him off against Croydon where he made a valuable difference and for one so young I really rate him. Ratty again is suffering from a very sore shin after a very hard tackle that has  left him in the wars”.

Paul also added “We were beaten by Lordswood last season at Homelands  and I don’t want that happening again. I will not under estimate them again as they have made quite a few changes to their playing line up and are a bit of an unknown quantity. For sure I will definitely be putting out my strongest possible team”.

This website thanks Paul for his very frank comments and we wish him and the team all the very best of luck in getting the right result from this game.

The Lordswood game kicks off tomorrow night (Tuesday) at 7-45pm
