At Last GAME ON!

F.A. Carlsberg Vase last it's ....GAME ON!

**Live updates on the forum **

After inspection Homelands has been declared playable and TONIGHT Thursday 13th Feb we see the long awaited FA Carlsberg Vase game between Ashford United and Hanwell Town.

Kick off is 7-45pm. With the weather today being showers with sunny intervals the drainage at Homelands at last won the battle against the rain to make this game to be ON!

The pitch is said to be soft but playable and the staff and volunteers behind the scenes had their work cut out to get the game organised for tonight.Hanwell are coming from North West London with their coach leaving for Homelands at 4 pm.The M25 can at peak times be notorious for hold ups of traffic and we wish them a safe journey.

Paul Chambers is under the cosh to put together his strongest team especially with it being a mid week fixture and with 3 on suspension, this fact hampers his team selection. Like all games however this could well be a time for a player to shine beyond belief. We shall see.Hanwell are believed to be at full strength with few games being played recently being a major factor.
