United Slip To 4th

United Still In the Hunt for Promotion!

With both Erith and Greenwich both playing well, Ashford hosted Sevenoaks knowing victory was a must to keep pace with the league leaders, With both Erith & Greenwich winning, and Ashford only managing a draw (Read the match report HERE), United slipped one place to 4th in the Southern Counties East League table.
31/10/15 v Sevenoaks Town

The league is still headed by Hollands and Blair, followed by Greenwich Borough and Erith  with United hot on their heels.
Danny Lye’s Green and White army need to find some consistency to stop the leaders pulling away, and not fall into the trap of drawing too many games as in previous seasons.

This league is one of the hardest in non league to get out of as only the winner is promoted come the end of the season, and having narrowly missed out in previous seasons Ashford will once again be looking to be in the mix at the end of the season.

Next at the Homelands we entertain Crowborough Athletic on Saturday 7th November with a 3pm kick off.
